That looks perfect. No winch and no soft top. Give the keys back to your wife and walk away.
No soft top? Thanks and yeah, I agree. It doesn't need anything else. She's really happy with it so we'll call this one a wrap
Nah no soft topNo soft top?
So the brakes ended up winning. Even after throwing a new caliper on it I couldnât get any fluid to bleed so onto the trailer and to the shop it went. Donât feel bad now. Buddy called asking wtf I did to this thing. Ended up replacing the whole line, pulled both rear axles because the e-brakes were trash, and on and on. Figured while he had it that far apart it was upgrade time. Needed tires anyways. Clayton 2.5â lift, Bilstein shocks, Fuel wheels and 35âWildpeakes. Looks great & rides better. Mrs Gruff is happy
I did their Ride Right 2.5" kit with Bilstein 5100's. Very basic - comes with adjustable front upper control arms, springs, raised rear track bar mount, front track bar, brake line mounts & sway bar links. I wanted to keep stock CA's for the ride quality. This Jeep may see dirt roads & thats likely it - this is 100% a mallcrawler. So far I'm a fan. Rides great looks exacty like we wanted.Which Clayton kit did you get? I installed the the Overlander kit on mine... it's been completely bomb proof for 5 years now. My only "complaint" is the rear springs are a bit stiff, causing me to to have to install spacers up front to level things out. But that's probably due more to my front bumper and heavy ass warn 8274. The upside is I pulled off my rear sway bar 4 years ago and haven't missed it. Lol...
Time to change from âDdaysâ to âMallcrawler fanâ
