Thanksgiving

I am curious to know where some of the forum members are going, and doing for thanksgiving. Any wheeling trips or just eating turkey with the family?
And what are you thankful for?

I am going up to Brehnam, Texas (where blue bell ice cream is made) and spending thanksgiving with my family...which is going to be fun(?) But I have recently gotten my nephew into jeeps and my brother recently bought one so at least I will have some people who can relatively speak my language.

Your turn!

First, Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Second, I am grabbing my old school cotton sweatpants with the elastic waistband and strapping on the feedbag. The countdown to deep fried turkey has begun!

I'm thankful for my family, health, job, Jeep, and the new circle of friends I have made since discovering this forum several months ago. I wish you all a very happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend.

Enjoy those sweatpants and deep-fried turkey (I can't say I've heard of that, but I'm positive you're not the only one who enjoys it!) have an enjoyable weekend.

My wife, dog and I are going to the mountains in North Carolina on Thanksgiving day to go cabin hunting! Gobble, Gobble!

Never heard of deep fried turkey?!?! It is damn near the juciest most amazing turkey you can have! I had one last year, but going the traditional 'shove it in the oven' route on Thursday.

This year, Thanksgiving is at my house, so no wheelin' for me. But if I need some 'me time' during the day, I might pop down to the garage and tinker. You know, clean up wires that don't need it or double check the drive-line bolts to make sure they are still torqe'd to spec. Happy Turkey day & safe travels to all!

I'll have to recommend that to the family.

Skipping the traditional family affair and hoping to do some wheeling/exploring instead. :thumb:

Grabbed a couple big drumsticks and thighs to cook instead of a whole bird.

Thankful for a lot of things, not the least of which is being home after spending a lot of in Vegas this fall. :yup:
