Synthetic Winch Line Fix

Alright so I have had my Warn Zeon 10s for a couple years now and the line is looking pretty crappy. Well yesterday when it decided to snap on the trail it wasnt a big surprise. I plan to replace it but Im wondering if anyone knows of a way to rig it to get me through a wheeling trip this weekend. Only about 10ft broke off so there would still be enough if I had to use it.

Yes. Really hard to explain, but you essentially re-braid it back around the thimble. Use a ball point pen, a sharpie and some tape for measuring. YouTube it, there's a guy that makes it really step by step. I've always wanted to try, let me know how it goes.

Tie it using a Yosemite Bowline.

It's used by mountain climbers so it will work for your winch at a temporary fix that is quick and easy.
