Guy with a Red 2-Door
Hey guys I need a little help. I'm installing my JKS sway bar discos and I noticed that my upper bar is super stiff/tight. What could cause this?ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1368665378.538962.jpg
It's stuck up like this

Can you move it easily with your hands? Mine stays up like that when disconnected but you can still move it easily.

No it's really stiff. Almost like the bolts in the pic are to tight? ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1368665713.726069.jpg

Stupid question maybe but are both sides disconnected? Maybe get someone to help and pull down or up on both sides at the same time.

Yea both sides are disco'd. Maybe im just having a weak moment? Lol

Just out my new jks disco's on tonight also. Trying to figure out how to secure it when disconnected

I had a quick link (basically a chain link that has a nut on one side to open the link) stuck to the side of the frame rail with speed steel. I took a loop of 1/16 inch cable, put it around the bar and hooked it in the link. Worked great until my chick said she undid it when she connected the swayback but didn't and the link ripped off when I hit the road. I was going to redo it but my swaybar doesn't move anyway. I leave it discoed more often than connected and it never moves so I just leave it hanging.
