Stupid Question, Where The Hell Does Everyone Put Their Cell Phone!!

In my 09 I put it either in the door pocket, or between the parking brake handle and the console piece under it. Fits perfectly and doesn't interfere with the e-brake, and also doesn't move while Offroading in very bump conditions.

Hah I started turning mine off. I can't hear shit on it my tires are so loud now. It's more frustration than its worth trying to talk on the damn thing!
"Why is it so loud there? Are you taking a Zumba class?"

Funny shit right there, mom.

I use a Steelie. I have had it on my iPhone 6 for about a year now. No issue what so ever. It's fast and simple, and I can stick my phone to any steel surface anywhere! I love it. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1455457669.341371.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1455457680.579824.jpg

Thinking about making something like this with a 3d printer for mine

I've been using the Rugged Ridge mount for just a few weeks now. I can put my iPhone 6 or my Garmin in the regular mount. I haven't tried it yet but supposedly I can also mount my GoPro as well. To me, it didn't eat up much space and I know where my phone is when it's mounted. Just my .02¢

Just noticed your little flashlight in those pics. There's a $3 mod I did for mine to mount on seat. Check build thread for pics if interested.

Little late here but does anyone know if rugged ridge makes that phone mount or anyone makes something similar for the 08 style dash?

Don't put the phone in the cubby on the dash on a hot day. I was recording a track with the phone GPS (plugged into the charger) and sitting in the cubby. It was so hot I could hardly hold it and it was shut off because it was too hot to work.

I had mine mounted in the power window switch cubby (only works for you non power window people). It was the Scosche Magicmount. I had the adhesive stuck to the top of the cubby, so my phone basically hung in front of the cubby and sat beneath my stereo. I liked the placement and the magnet concept but found myself having to hold the phone in place when I hit any real bumps. I left it mounted on the Jeep when I sold it and am leaning towards the Rugged Ridge mount this time around.

I have a ram mount I attach to the ball on my grab handle. Drivers side up and out of the way.

I have the same setup as you. I put my phone on the passenger grab bar, while driving and switch to the grab handle, on the trails.

Those Ram mounts are nice. I use Rokform mounts and clip the phone in. I have amount for my mountain bike also so makes a simple switch from Jeep to Bike
