I have this same model on my jk, only mine is tan. What I can say is this...it is still absolutely impossible to light a smoke at highway speeds.

However, maybe the black one will help with the lighting problem. If it does, it will probably void the warranty.

This product helps more with the sun beating down, and a moderate wind reduction. So, although I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't think this would help much.
