And here in the US our congress just killed Massies bill to strip out the automotive kill switch Biden mandated. So they can disable your whole car if they want for whatever reason they want.

All it requires is knowledge of the protocols and the codes/keys. It may be that manufacturers are required to provide the government with the codes/keys (under a secrecy agreement so the public does not know) or maybe the government just spies on the manufactureres and gets the codes that way.

The man had a licence to carry the weapon. There is no evidence that he reached for it or "brandished" it at any time.

It is difficult to tell if the man was being arrested, or aware that he was being arrested. He seems to be stooped over helping someone get up off the ground and not "resisting" other than being an obnoxious protester.

Being a concealed carrier has nothing to do with it. It was being a concealed carrier while going stupid places and doing stupid things with stupid people. He was caught behind enemy lines while armed.

I’m all for pushing back to maintain or gain back freedoms and liberties. I’m not for pushing back against enforcing laws that protect our right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Why are we even thinking about protecting murderers and rapists from the law? Why wouldn’t we push back against a political culture that keeps us imprisoned as perpetual victims? Why is January 6 an insurrection and the Summer of Love and the current defiance of the Feds arresting criminals isn’t?

I do not trust our government. There should be over watch and accountability. You don’t get that when the Useful Idiots take to the street and create chaos.

Yeah, I get the why. And nice uniforms probably don’t help if history is to be a guide. Not sure why it bothers me so much — one of those “me problems” I guess. Hopefully with the new budget that ICE is getting, they can standardize on something less militaristic like what CBP wears when not undercover.
