Denmark to compensate thousands of Indigenous women and girls in Greenland over forced contraception

The Danish health ministry said Wednesday that women who were given contraception against their knowledge or consent between 1960 and 1991 can apply for individual payouts of 300,000 Danish kroner (about $46,000) starting next April. An estimated 4,500 women could be entitled to compensation.

After going back and rereading comments from several forum members here, I did an experiment to see if it was true that my social media feed might be fucking me up. You were right. All of you. I deleted my IG, Threads and FB accounts. I came back to Threads 24 hours later via a web browser not being logged in as anyone, and the feed was completely normal. Not one liberal post. Nothing about ICE except one post showing an agent mid-slip on actual ice. Everything else was sports, movies, entertainment, you know NORMAL stuff. So there is is. I let myself get radicalized. I ask that you would respect my privacy during this difficult time. No, seriously, please tell me to go eat a bag of dicks so I never let this happen again.
