Having work closely with the FBI for years and having friends at the highest levels I can say that the Bureau suffers from all the same issues that every other government agency does- if not more.
Imagine being made the leader of an agency where the majority of the employees hate you, your agenda, your boss, and will resist what you are doing (passively or actively) every single fucking day. Yeah, welcome to the director of the DOJ/FBI position!
Kash and Bongino are in a no win situation. I do not envy them and I would never step up for the job they have. Everyone who pisses and moans about them should carry their weight for just a single day and feel the opposition they face. It would crush you.
It is going to take years, or maybe decades to fix the FBI/DOJ. The FBI/DOJ hired a lot of DEI types and then fast tracked them to management level- they have the power now and removing them will not be easy.
In the end none of this will truly change until we downsize Fed Gov by choking off the money. A third party is a fools errand. Term limits are a panacea of the uniformed.
Repeal the 16th Amendment to truly change the situation. Yeah, it will be hard but that’s what it will take. It is easy to sit back at a safe distance and whine about it, but fixing it is a totally different matter.
