Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Unfortunately, I think you're right. After Kirk's assassination and the reactions from the left, I came to that conclusion. At first I was telling myself it was just a shock/grief response.

But it seems like the gulf is just too wide, and the left is pursuing their agenda with the same fervor seen in islam... islam being the greatest force for evil in the world today (IMO).

To me, what we see in England is the muslims piggybacking leftistist ideology to accomplish their agenda, then seize power when the time is right. They are almost ready.

This is way worse than the red scare.

Ponder this: England could be the first muslim country with nukes

And, the only western power for Europe. When they fall, which we will let them, there’s not much to stop islam. Hell, most of Europe is close to, or have already, had their national birth rates dwarfed by islamic immigration.

Pakistan tested its first nuke in 1998, but I get your point.

It’s strange to watch countries commit cultural suicide but that has been happening since the dawn of time and nobody seems to learn anything from it and it keeps being repeated. In fact ‘we’ are not even honest about what causes the problem because emotion is more powerful than logic and feelings always win out.

I have had a lot of interaction with the Brits and other western Euros over the last 30+ years, mostly their military special operations and intelligence services. While many of them seem to be like us, there are subtle differences in how they perceive things especially their relationship with authority. They are far more concerned about being ‘reasonable’ and collective. They are far less independent than most Americans. To sum it up they have the attitude of a subject, not a citizen and they allowed this to be done to them.

I’m not saying we are not headed that way- because we are unless more Americans get back to the attitude that made this country great.

It’s range time, gotta go.

I gotta say, I'm kinda surprised (and not) that this isn't getting more air time as really big news.

I mean, if this really happens, the orange man bad will be the first and only president/person to have made it possible. Of course, this nor any of the other wars he's helped to end will ever get him a Nobel Peace Prize.

My brother has lived in several countries in Europe over the past 30 years, and his wife is from Prague. We've talked about this. There is definitely a deference to authority there that we are lacking and you can see their leaders taking full advantage of this

Like he said in his speech to the congress, paraphrasing here, he could cure cancer and they would still hate him. Totally pisses me off too.

This region and conflict has a history of perhaps 100+ failed agreements. I hope that this one holds and we don't almost immediately read about one of the parties bombing the other, and the subsequent retaliation.

There is definitely a difference between Americans and Euros. It’s subtle and not something you’ll notice on vacation, but we see fundamental issues very differently. To steal a trendy phrase: “We are not the same”.
