Awesome. I think that is their way of getting out of their contract with him and what I am assuming is horrible ratings for his show.

The ratings for late night TV comedy in general has surely been tanking for several years. People have many other things to watch at night now and have little reason to turn to legacy broadcast networks. Only really poor people who can not afford more than broadcast TV have limited options.
