This is what's so sickening and horrifying about the indoctrination that happens in the schools, especially colleges. Not to mention simply, the internet.

Agreed. If his parents were involved or knew he was messed up it would be like the parents of that gabby petito girls boyfriend. They are not like that. For the dad to detain him and then call authorities speaks about his character.

I don’t think so. If his parents were complicit they wouldn’t have detained him and called authorities.

Unfortunately the Public Schools are forced to provide these kids with a "Free and Appropriate Eduction" This was originally created to make sure children with disabilities where provided with what they need to get the best education they could from the Public Education Sytem. For quite awhile now the LGBTQXYZ...(or whatever the hell letters they are using now) have successfully used that law to force schools to make all kinds of accommodations to them as well. My wife and I have both worked for different schools systems over the last 25 years and MOST of the people we work with would be considered moderates, and there are some who are pretty conservative. Of course, like any group of people that number more than 13 million, there are the nut jobs, but honestly most of the teachers and district staff aren't happy with having to accomidate a six year old boy who has decided to be a girl. They all know that this is the parents doing this and it is disgusting. However, legally they are forced to make accommodations. They also have to be VERY careful how they explain this to their other students or they will find themselves the target of a lawsuit. You can't tell a classroom "Well students, his parents are mentally ill and they really wanted a girl, so they are forcing him to pretend he is one". Although I am sure many have wanted to...

So rather than whine about the education system, learn why they are doing some the things they are doing. Work to get the laws tightened up, and make sure the judges who are allowing it to be applied this way don't get reelected or appointed. School boards are elected, make sure you are involved in who is running your child's school district.

And start using the same laws against the nut jobs. Interpretation is always a two (or ten) way street.

Not whining, stating fact.

I have many educators in my inner circle, some that threw in the towel and some that are still in the system trying to keep children safe and educate without losing their careers. I'm fully aware of what teachers deal with, but it's still the education system from the top that allows the "interpretation" to perverse the laws and IMO, it begins with the board of education bureaucrats and activist lawfare that instilled the fear in anyone that speaks out.

I've had lengthy discussions with Principles (friends) about this, including police officers who are located at schools - the kids have ZERO respect for anyone because of all the liberal ideology being ingrained into them.

I've been to many local board of ed meetings and been escorted out because they don't want to hear my comments. they give you 1-2 minutes and want you to STFU.

I've had confrontations with teachers when I found out they were not teaching the subject my daughter was supposed to be learning and one in particular that tried to get my daughter involved with a brainwashing after school activity that she was instructed NOT to tell her parents.

I stand firm in my comment - The current education system. We all need to make ourselves heard.
