*An Israeli security source has revealed that the Mossad executed a coordinated, three-part covert campaign deep inside Iran, synchronised with Israeli Air Force (IAF) strikes across the country.*
According to the source, the objective was to neutralise Iran’s ability to retaliate against Israeli aircraft and civilian targets by crippling key missile and air-defence assets from within.
*1 Precision fire from the shadows*
In central Iran, Mossad commando teams secretly emplaced operational launch systems for precision-guided munitions in open terrain adjacent to Iranian surface-to-air-missile (SAM) batteries. The weapons lay dormant until the broader Israeli assault began; then, on command, they fired simultaneously and “with remarkable accuracy” at pre-selected targets, the source said.
*2 Hitting the shields that guard the skies*
A separate line of effort focused on Iran’s air-defence network. Through a series of clandestine operations, Mossad operatives mounted advanced strike technologies on civilian-looking vehicles inside Iran. At zero hour, those systems unleashed their payloads, reportedly obliterating multiple air-defence sites that posed the greatest threat to Israeli fighter jets.
*3 The drone base at Esfajabad*
The third component involved an internal drone base stocked long in advance with explosive UAVs. Agents had infiltrated dozens of loitering munitions into the Esfajabad area, just outside Tehran, where Iran houses ground-to-ground missile (SRBM) launchers. During the attack, these drones were launched toward the Esfajabad batteries, destroying platforms deemed a strategic danger to Israel.
