SOLD : RUBICAT - 2012 JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited / 40's + EVO DTD

Count me in for an idea like that.

And think, a raffle done with forum members would keep her in view, in all likelihood.

Let's do it

BTW, I like how a bunch of us have already raffled it off, in theory, before Eddie has had a chance to chime in

Any update on Rubicat being sold yet? This thread is kinda turning into everyone wishing they could have her lol so not exactly sure if she’s been sold or not yet

Potentially. I have a buyer from out of state who's committed but needs to figure a few things out first.

We're definitely all waiting to hear the rest of the story. I'm sure you'll be sorry to see her go, hoping she is adopted by someone worthy!
Nice! I’m sure you’ll keep us updated as things get figured out

Just guessing here but IF a raffle occurs (and it should) I believe at least part of the market price (if not all of it) could be written off as either a business expense or a tax deduction for the oh’s.

FOR SALE : RUBICAT - 2012 JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited / 40's + EVO DTD

^^I guess I wasn’t that clear last time. You can’t raffle off the Jeep for paid tickets because that is considered a lottery and would result in a not so pleasant knock on the door by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. And if you tried to write it off as a business expense when you aren’t a non-profit and the raffle actually is for profit, you could also expect a knock on the door from the IRS. No offense, but please don’t spew bullshit on subjects you clearly know nothing about.

Can he form a non profit, then we can have a fundraiser in the form of donations to auction off the rig?

What if he auctions it? $20 per $1 bid, reserve of $2750, the winner has to pay what the final auction sale of the Jeep was (in addition to however many bids he bought), bids have to be bought before they can be used. Auction ends on at a certain time and date.
