Soft Tops

it's been a long time since I've used a soft top, I quit using one because of the noise and winters seem to shorten the life of the plastic windows.
 
15 years ago I had a forest green Optimax top. Quite a bit thicker than OEM, and waxed. Made it totally waterproof, quiet and warm. Great top. I had a YJ then.

I recently got a Bestop Trektop NX Twill and it is amazing......I was amazed at how quiet it was once installed especially compared to the factory OEM top and it is warm. I live in Colorado and that is the only top I have and we have already had some negative mornings and I was able to sit in the Jeep without it being warmed up and wasnt to cold. So far I cannot find any negatives other than the price.
 
I bought my Jeep with a hardtop only and ended up getting a used premium soft top. It is really nice. Easy to get up and down, relatively quiet, and does not leak at all. After this winter, if it all goes well, thinking of selling my hardtop in the spring.
 
Trek Top NX.
Only had it about a month but it is awesome!
Pros: its a full soft top and a bikini top all in 1. Looks bad ass
Cons: its a soft top and can easily be broken into.
