TBH, we rarely eat out at restaurants other than the local bars, diners & mexican joints any more. And even there you're spending $50-75 easy with a drink or 2. It adds up really quick, and we've really cut back. I also have a hard time paying these restaurant prices nowadays for just a regular meal.

Only time we eat out is when time is in a pinch. Even then, I always find something wrong with the food or service and hate myself for spending the money on it.

We only eat out while traveling, or for very special occasions. While at home, there is no need since my wife is a good cook.
