That's just the thing. I can't lie, it still would be really hard for me to leave being born and raised here. I've thought about it more than once, but part of me secretly hopes California will go back to what it once was. (I'm probably delusional)

I know exactly how you feel. When I was your age, I loved it there. I loved the weather, all the things to do, I had a good group of friends (who I still have). Now that I'm older, I can't stand going back. The ONLY reason I go is to visit relatives. Trust me, if you ever leave, you might miss it for a little while, but you'll get older and not miss it.

Not totally delusional, really. There’s a chance because of the last couple of years, but it’s very slim. Unfortunately, people have a short memory and come election season, they’ll forget the bullshit and vote in more socialists.
