[GP NOIR]

Rotax 912 opposed 4 cyl with twin carbs in a Czech Sport Cruiser. Displaces 1352 CCs or about 82.6 CI. Heads are water cooled and the cylinders are air cooled. We’re had to sync the carbs, today.

My uncle was a fighter pilot in Korea and Vietnam. 299 total combat missions and was awarded 2 DFC's and 7 air medals. Checked out in 15 aircraft and had 3700 flying hours. His last mission was in the F-111 aardvark. His love was the F86 and the A37 which he formed the combat dragon program.

Yeah drill down in the article they said the pilot was trying to avoid birds. Can’t imagine the pucker factor.

Didn’t there used to be an old Constellation out at the Camarillo airport? I don’t think it was airworthy last time I was out there over thirty years ago but I vaguely remember it.
