Building an AR-15. Itll be chambered in 5.56/.223 already have my lower receiver and everything I need to complete it. Just a few more items needed such as a BCG and a charge handle. And obviously some magazines! Can't wait to finish it. Will compliment my Glock 19 Gen 4 perfectly! Lol

If you want an AR-15 to match a Glock, I'd recommend something like this. The magazines and suppressor are interchangeable.

I didn't say match. I said compliment. Lol. And that's an AR pistol. Shots pistol rounds. Mine is going to be chambered in 5.56/.223. Maybe in a few years I'll build an AR pistol.

Shooting pistol rounds doesn't turn a rifle into a pistol. The rifle in the picture is an AR-15 SBR chambered in 9mm. I'll cut you some slack though since you live in Chicago.;)

Very true. Lol. Especially since we here are not allowed to have suppressors :-(. And especially since we are not allowed to have a rifle in the city limits of Chicago either.

The build started with a small frame stripped lower from Quarter Circle 10. You can build it into a 9mm or 40 cal. They also make a large frame lower that can be built into a 10mm or 45 cal.

If you ever make it to a free state pistol caliber carbines are a ton of fun especially with a can on them. Eventually you run out of Ars to build and you just start on the fun ones lol.

Yep. Once you start getting into the double digits in ARs, they start getting a little boring to build. However, take a suppressed pistol caliber SBR to a reactive steel range and see if you can't have some fun. Renting out a tactical range with a course setup and running them is a lot of fun too.

I'm already planning one in 5.7 with a PDW stock. The standard builds have their place but the exotics are more fun. Just finished a 6.5 Grendel. Just have to get the optic and change out the stock. My wife changed her mind lol.

I've got an AR-57. It's a neat gun, but I prefer my PS90. Just make sure that you don't get the Korean mags. They are horrible.

Ms Cleo predicts you will have 3 guns by the end of the year.

It seems that Ms Celo's prediction was right. Long story short, I took 6 hour round trip, traded my AEV bumper and came home with this custom built gem, with only 200 rounds through it.... super clean!!!

It feels like am playing call of duty when I look through this sight [emoji854]

Nice set up. Check the serial number of your eotech and look at the recall they recently had. I have never had an issue with mine but, I'm not sure that I would trust it with my life. Primary Arms seems to have some nice optics that really keep up with the brand name guys and can take a beating. the price is really nice too.

Will check for the recall for sure, thanks for the heads up bud.

This 5.7 talk made me go over to my gunsmith and pick this back up since he had just finished engraving it for me. I think tomorrow is going to be an expensive day at the range.

Thanks. You're definitely right about actually shooting being a large part of the cost of the hobby. These rounds are 40 to 50 cents each and 50 fit in the magazine. The gun is very easy to shoot and it's very difficult not to end up shooting it fast. You can go through a couple hundred dollars worth of ammo very quickly if you already have the magazines loaded.
