Glad your family and you are safe. This could have been so much worse as all have said.
This just gives you a chance to start over, even if it takes longer. You may have lost a lot but not everything and not the most important things.
I fear a house fire more than being shot at. I have fought several grass fires and they dont compare until a home is involved.
