I’ve been away a few years (getting the kids raised and launched)
I bought my self a new 392 in Dec of 24, saying that since it had the XR package, id not need much else and don’t need to mod it…… famous last words..
I started with having issues with a lot of bump steer and way too soft ride, so i added Clayton 392 performance coils and falcon 3.3’s…. Then i added metal cloak steering and that helped the bump steer
Problem was, I was riding the bump stops still (less that 1” of up travel) so that wasn’t going to work
Now, I’ve gone to a full Rock jock Sport kit, wheel it was there, I added 6 piston willwoods, a huge added bonus in stopping power and pedal feel.
Now i have good travel and amazing brakes, still not sold on try Falcons……..always been a fan of King
I can fit 38’s for sure, but the 37” raptor spec 37’s with 15fiftytwo wheels are 2 lbs lighter per wheel than the stock 315’s were…
But 38’s would fill it out better.
