Rigid duallys with rugged ridge rocker switch problem

Disclaimer: I know pretty much nothing about electrical work.

I am trying to wire my duallys to a rugged ridge rocker switch and the connectors are not the same size. Do I need to cut off the connectors from the wiring harness and add ones that will fit? Am I overlooking something or is there a better solution out there?

Cut the connectors, splice the wire, send it through the hole, twist them together, solder if you can or use electrical tape to clean it up.
You can get new connectors to make it cleaner and I would recommend that.

Get new insulated connectors that fit your switch. A home improvement store or Radio Shack would have them. Take your switch along for a test fit.

I had the same issue. Get connectors that fit and cut the other ones off. Like Peak said, solder if you can.
