I wanted to stop here on the way down but it wasn’t open yet when we passed by.




Not what you might expect in this area but there is a tremendous of ground water coming off the mountains.



The building is super cool.

Meadows of Dan is located approximately one half hour north of Andy Griffith's hometown of Mount Airy, North Carolina, the city which is widely believed to have inspired the fictitious Mayberry on the Andy Griffith Show. It has been speculated that the name "Mayberry" may have come from either Mayberry Road, The Mayberry Trading Post, or the Mayberry Presbyterian Church in Meadows of Dan.

I drove up to Reno to visit Summit Racing. It was impressive and I was surprised with the extent of their retail space. I have always known them as a mail order company but never guessed they had any retail space.

This was cool and I’d love to drive it.

Since I was in Reno, @Traciehue suggested I see if Whole Foods had solved their distribution issues with Russian River Brewing.

God smiles upon me!

I did not buy it all- I left a bottle on the shelf because I’m a considerate kind of a guy.

I forgot that the Dometic Fridge in the 392 only holds 21 bottles of Pliny and I had 22 total bottles.





Number 22 is not going to make it out alive.




I guess I’ll just make the sacrifice and drink it while we sort our gear in the shed.



The hazy was pretty good- not Pliny good but nothing to sneeze at!
