Good morning

looking to see if anyone has the hard rock rear bumper and using a carrier other then the AEV one in the factory hole?

thats the issue i have run into, AEV's customer service is garbage and would prefur to give my bussiness elswhere.

What is the problem you are having?
 
i am looking for other options. i like the look of the bumper, but trying to get a hold of AEV products and them in particular is a royal pain in the ass.
 
The other company that makes it is Maximis-3. Check out their site, they also make winch packages and such for the front bumper.

You get this figured out? Call up Trail Jeeps. They'll set you up and you wont have to deal with AEV if that's the issue. I bought my AEV carrier from TJ and Wes and their customer service is great. :thumb
 
Smittybilt made (or makes) a swing out tire carrier (Gen II swing out tire carrier I think it's called), shares the same design idea as the AEV in that it attaches to the frame via a spindle bracket giving you the freedom of using it with the 10A bumper or by cutting a hole in the factory bumper. But, I've never found a review on it and I've only seen one picture of it installed, and that was on an Aussie Jeep forum.

There's a few companies that carry the AEV gear so you don't have to deal direct with the company if you don't want to.
