congrats drink lots of honey to celebrate!!!!

where did you find it and are you missing stuff?

I don't know how to do multiple quotes for different posts but basically, me and the wife are currently separated and I went to the house to collect some important documents and retrieve my firearms and I was in the middle of that when I was walking down stairs with 4 long guns in my hands and a big ammo box when her dad shows up and starts getting physical with me. while I had full hands, he ripped my keys off my pants and (long story somewhat shortened) stole my jeep and went and locked it up. I couldn't call the cops right then because he threw all of my guns (some of which were still loaded and unlocked)and ammo all over the yard and I still have some things from TN that a ca cop would probably not like. So I went back later after stashing the guns to steal it back and the jeep was gone. I went and got duplicates of everything and new registration and refinanced it and everything and beat him before he tried to sell it (I'm assuming illegally) When I got it back I brought an SBCS deputy and her dad went so crazy that the deputy told me to take the one key we got from him and let's get out of here. So I did. I checked out the jeep pretty thoroughly and noticed my hi lift was kind of just sitting loosely on its mount ready to fall off, my O.R.E. sticker is missing and the whole jeep was empty. No recovery gear no shovel or strap, no dealer paper or warranty info and there were some new miles on the odometer and new bug splats on the windshield. Also a Starbucks cup with the name Tina on it..... He also still has one key and I underestimated him before so now I'll be working on getting the locks and ignition changed and using my "club" to lock the steering. I'm gonna work on getting my stuff back another time. As for right now I'm just super glad I've got my jeep back before he had it illegally parted or sold.
Oh yeah and thanks again Frank.

Yeah, there are what's called hump yards. Kinda like a bowl, you kick railroad cars and let them roll free into each other. Certain rail cars you're not allowed to hump, auto rack, and hazmat mostly.

My grandfather was a railroader but he's not around to ask anymore. I remember him talking about steam locomotives and shoveling coal and riding a caboose, none of which are done anymore

Not That Kind of Engineer

They still run a couple of steam locomotives every now and then. I'm an engineer for union Pacific railroad. Been there for 10 years already. Those old steam engines are pretty cool. They run of oil now.
