Took my K10 to a car show yesterday, only took one picture

This felt good. Had my knife sharpened recently and used it to open a zip tie so I could save it. Sliced right through the nail. But on the plus side I saved $0.10 on a zip tie.

When stationed in the UK, I was driving my Rover TC2000 with a 5 speed manual. Had to stop at the top of this steep hill and make a very sharp right turn. Normally, this turn wasn’t a problem, I’d done many times before with a little rollback to engage the clutch without stalling. This time, some bloke crawled up close to my rear bumper, leaving me no room to roll back without hitting his car.

So, what did was ease the Rover back until its weight was resting on bloke’s front bumper. His brakes held both cars in place. I took my foot off my brake and waited with one foot on the clutch and the other on the accelerator. When a break in traffic came, I was able to take off with no trouble. I don’t think the bloke in the other car even knew what I did!
