Rancheria Road exploring.

Went up Rancheria Road the other day for a relaxing time. The road was still closed 8 miles before the 155 but since Bakersfield is brown most of the year, it was nice to see green hills and a few wild flowers blooming. Nothing major, just a nice relaxing drive.

Bako people, I originally planned a trip to gorman ohv park on the 21st... maybe we can switch it up to go up here on that date? Two of my guys backed out already and one wont have his Willy's ready by then. What do you all think?

Thank you all for the kind words. I will repost in the upcoming trips page for this run. I think there is a trail called black gulch in the area two. And freeway ridge sounds good, but I don't know if my rig will make it through.

You'll be fine:yup:

Very nice pics! The desert never ceases to amaze me after good spring rains. Remember the El Nino a number of years ago? Here in AZ we experienced breathtaking flowers everywhere and millions of creepy Sonoran Desert Toads. ;)
