Pretty Discouraged

Hey, I got one of those Japanese cars on the recall list..a corolla. My Jeep was not on the Recall list...imagine that.
 
That is why they are the called the wicked stealership. I took mine to Off road warehouse for a free bumper to bumper bolt check and they found a lot of lose stuff, so for a fee they torqued every bolt to spec and i felt much better about my family riding along with me. I do crawl under there once a month or so just to check everything out. I hope it all works out for you and your JK. Just remember "What goes around....comes around"
 
My last jkur was certified pre-owned. It didn't have high beams or properly function turn signal bulbs. Scared me to think of what else they didn't check. Then they broke the plug replacing the headlight, so I only had one headlight.

My new one has it't own grimlins. Your issues are safety related, so keep fighting and maybe call chrysler corporate too.
