Playstation PS3 PS4 thread

I could invest in some new games after the holidays... but a PS4 is a ways down the road... not to mention having to pay for online gaming... the ps3 might be my last console until I have a kid who wants one

Added you! I'm really surprised there aren't more BF players on here. I have a PS3 as well, but rarely play it anymore now that I have a PS4. But I do have BF4 for PS3 that I can spin up if anyone is on there.

i tried battlefeild back in the day and didnt like it. i was a big cod player up until the most recent one so nothing else got my attention lol. now since destiny has been out its all i play lol its a true MMO like world of warcraft where you have to play alot to level and advance

My life in a nutshell. Destiny is by far one of the best games out right now. Me and steve are constantly on it trying to beat the next hardest thing out. Would love to see some wayalife guys on destiny!

I totally disagree, but we'll never agree. So many people love this game and games just like it - but I totally don't get it. I tried the demo and I was bored almost immediately.

Haha, I agree. We have a PS3, but I'm not good enough to play these nerds online. I don't stand a chance
 
I'll challenge any of you to the original shooter game..... NES Duck Hunt. So long as we can find a tube tv :doh: :yup:

I can totally understand how you can get the idea that destiny is boring off the demo. The demo capped off at like 5 missions and only allowed you to level up to level 8. The demo was a complete deadend. Between the bounties, strikes, crucible, the raid, and the story of over 32 missions, theres plenty to do. Destiny being the first real MMO I've played, you have to adjust to the game. But once your used to it, it will take over. Theres always something to do between the daily bounties, weekly heroic strike, weekly nightfall, daily mission, and the raid reseting weekly. Im constantly leveling up new gear or new guns between the three of my characters. I encourage you to give it another try with the full game and new dlc. But as you stated, to each their own. I didn't think i was going to like it based off the demo either

$50/year for online gaming is such a small expense I can't see it mattering.

It's more of that style of game play. I'm only in it for total destruction and chaos, because thats what I find enjoyable about it. Total lack of cognitive function, run and gun, thoughtless stupidity. MMOs are on the completely other end of the spectrum. I have no interest in missions or levels or puzzles.

Destiny is boring to me because I"m not interested in the communal aspect of it either. I had the same experience with WoW.
