Play in steering

Lovin my new bajas on Betty. I’ve got a lot of play in the steering wheel now that I’ve went up to 35’s. I’ve left it stock still deciding which to go with. My questions I have are 1. Does anyone else have this play after going up to 35’s and if so what did you do to eliminate?
2. If I put new steering upgrades and then lift it will I need to replace them?

Do you happen to know which steering box you have? The aluminum boxes had a recall and would maybe start there. I wouldn't start throwing money at it until you can really find the issue.

If you keep your lift around 4" or less you will be fine with most steering upgrades but if you plan on going to like a 6" lift, you will need a draglink flip and raised track bar bracket up front.
