Ever since we brought home Pappy, our 1954 Willys CJ3B, we've been wanting to get rid of the street tires he came with and throw on new set of shoes. What we really wanted was what he would have come with from the factory and that would have been a set of Firestone 6.00x16 NDT but, after giving it some thought, we decided to beef him up just a bit and picked up a set of 7.00x16's instead. Of course, to complete the package, we had picked up a set of Omix-Ada replica wheels and had them powder coated white just like they would have been from the factory. Being that they are tube tires, they are a bit of a pain to install but, I was able to get them all installed using a Harbor Freight manual tire machine and, here are some shots that we took of what Pappy looks like now.
Here are a couple of shots just after pulling him out of the garage.

And, here are a few that we took after taking him out for a test down the street.

Can't tell you how happy we are to have this awesome Willys
