Here are a couple during the first few months of ownership back in late 2008. I wanted a Rubicon and it was the only one on the dealers lot, so it came with a 3" or 3.5" (not sure, didn't care) Teraflex short arm, Teraflex bumpers and AEV Pintlers, bushwacker pocketflares (I hated those flares with a passion)

Damn, it was an overland jeep right from the start.

Looks totally different now. And way better in fact.

Were they a PITA that much? I kinda like the "rugged" looks it gives but I fear it doesn't give any tire clearance. Even worst than oem...

You know, I had them on an F-350 and it looked great. I just think on a JK the fenders wear the jeep instead of the jeep wearing fenders. They are a tad to big, and proved to be within two hours of that top photo being taken. I hit the trail hours after I left the dealer parking lot, was driving through a box canyon when the passenger front was ripped off. They provide no ability to absorb impact, have zero flex. Definitely designed for looks first and to keep water spray from getting flung, just not functional for wheeling. Had it been a set of stock flares, there would have been little to no damage, at least if there had been I could have trimmed the stock flares after.

2010 Jeep JK. New 6" teraflex lcg, prenrunner style lift going on this weekend.

It will include: speed bumps, piggy back reservoir shocks, and long arm kit.

We take 3-4 trips per year out to Colorado every year, either skiing or off roading.
