Off grid camping trailer build

Got the battery/storage box mounted. Made a battery hold down strap, got the solar charger hooked up. Made a switch panel and got the lights wired in.

I like the Height of the tent. I can stand up under it and my head just barely touches the bottom of the tent. No more ducking to get dressed in the morning.

Got the tires balanced yesterday and put in a couple charging ports. Today I installed the awning.

Have the trailer mostly loaded for it’s first trip. I undershot my ride height by about an inch. The tires are going to kiss the fenders every now and again, over bigger bumps. Have a e-mail in to the company to see if there is a stiffer block I can run, or other options to bring it up a touch.

The trailer worked perfectly on its Maiden voyage. The solar system kept up with all our demands, charging camera batteries, lights and CB. It was a great test run. My suspicion of my clearance issues happened just as I thought. I’ve got heavier weight springs coming to fix that. So I’ve got it ready to switch out the springs.
