Need help making purchase decision

Option 1:
ATX Ravine wheels, new
37" Cooper STT Pros, new
Total: $2340

Option 2:
ATX Slabs with some rock rash on rings
37" Trail Grapplers with 7500 miles, spare is 15k miles
Total: $2400

Axles, ball bearings, etc are all stock on my JKUR
 
While I know those are slabs and a beadlock, I'd still have to go with the new set I think.

For me it's an OCD thing, I get more piece of mind with something brand new. But that's just me and my opinion!

If it were me, as much as I like the look of the Ravines, I would go with the Slabs and Nittos. You could always paint them up if you want to, but your getting a wheel that you could seriously air down with and with piece of mind.
I guess the only counter to that would be that you would pretty much need to mount your own tires from now on, as I'm sure you know most tire shops won't touch beadlocks. If that doesn't bother you, I say slabs all the way and just add to the rock rash!

Once you drive out of the tire shop, the "brand new" tires are used... the slabs look like they can easily be cleaned up to "like new" with an angle grinder and a little elbow grease.
My vote would be for the slabs.

Hmm. If married I would go with new tires. That way when the wife is talking to her friends it won't be how you spent all the money on the jeep, but how nice the dinner was. If single go with the slabs all day long as the tires are nearly new and plenty of tread life in them. Just my thoughts.

as much as id agree that new tires are the way to go, it seems like those have a lot of life left. another thing to consider is do you think that you'll want bead locks in the future? you can clean those up a bit but having made this mistake I wouldn't want to buy wheels twice if you can help it. Personally i would Jump on option 2 in a heart beat because that's 4000$ worth stuff but granted it is used its not in terrible shape
 
if the nittos have already been rotated at least once, nittos and slabs - more so if you can get the price down a bit more.

if they haven't been rotated you may not be able to rotate the spare in if there's too much of a difference - then I'd skip the nittos and go the cooper route
