Need a better lift

Hey guys, I wanted to ask you guys advise. I purchased my Jeep with a 3" BDS lift. I also run 35's. I have been working to improve the ride quality of my JK Rubicon since day one. I worked through some DW issues early on, and now the ride is OK at best. The steering still feels flighty, it's not hard to steer, but it sure doesn't ride like I know it should. I also installed the AEV control arm correction brackets, that made things better but not great. I know I don't need a 3" lift to run 35's but I'm not sure which way to go now. I thought of purchasing new coil springs like the Evo plush ride, and Maybe couple that with some really good shocks. The problem is I don't think that's going to solve my problems altogether. Should I go with a more complete smaller lift?

I've been eyeing that kit for a few weeks and leaning in that direction, but it's still a 3" lift. What does this kit offer that I don't already have in my current lift? Also, it doesn't look like this kit comes with shocks. I also hear a lot of good things about Rancho's. I'd like to keep it under 1,500$ for a lift.

.....A good ride lol

Edit: no shocks w the kit, the ranchis work pretty well.

Sounds like your front end could use some work. I would get a tape measure out and check out your front end end alignment before I dropped a bunch of dough on a new lift. Castor and toe being off can cause things to get flighty.
If you replaced any ball joints/tie rod/drag link parts trying not to cure your DW, things will be a bit stiff for a while. All those ball joints take time to break in.

Yes, it has new ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link along with a new steering stabilizer. The front end was aligned at the same time. This was part of the DW issue I was having. That problem is cured now.

I would check the castor. I have no idea what 3" of lift with factory lca's and aev correction brackets will give you. Doesn't hurt to know what ya got.
You could also benefit from raising the track bar and drag link flip to keep the two parallel. But three inches is the minimum that you could to this with.
