Im planning on going to check out Uwharrie this Sunday (December the 14th). I only plan on hitting the easy and possibly the intermediate trails since im running stock axles/suspension, my buddy may also go and hes in an all stock Willys Jeep. Any recommendations on which trails we should hit or stay away from?

I was supposed to be up there this weekend but the axle upgrades are taking much longer than expected.

It's the last open weekend at URE until April :(

Look up a company called 'Get Ugly Customs'.. they are local to Fort Bragg and the folks that work there hit Uwharrie a bunch. They are always open to having new folks come with them.

well we went up today and are going back again tomorrow. Had a lot of fun and made it through everything easily. we did hit the dickey bell trail and the one real rough hill I thought I was going to have issues but made it through easily. its amazing what even a stock JKU Sport can do! I'll post pictures later tonight!

We need to get a run together for the spring! I've really been wanting to head up there.

sounds good to me! hopefully ill have a few more mods done by then! my build has been temporarily suspended while I transition out of the military to the civilian life.

That looks sweet.

yeah i was under the impression that was at Uwharrie forrest, but after a lot of googling and investigating, turns out its not lol. not sure where its actually at, but it does look sweet!

I have done plenty of mud. It is too much work after to get the mud off. I have gotten lazy. It can be a lot of fun if you dont get too stuck.

thats exactly why I dont like it either lol. I told my wife after I went through, I have now foresaken myself to getting mud in my eye everytime I work on the Jeep because there is no way to get it all off lol!
