Where did you put the Lic plate? And how?

I used a cheap ARB mount. I took out the halogen light and added some LEDs. I ran the wires from the drivers side tail light sound to the tailgate. It was a lot easier than you would think. Added the disconnect to pull the plate when you needed the spare.

It’s actually a pretty good relocation bracket. I had to add a few washers due to the new wheels but it’s pretty good for a budget. You can probably get it through Eddie’s Amazon link or just google it. It’s like 30 bucks. You will need to drill new holes for the plate because It’s made for Aussie wide plates but it’s an easy mod.

I making a mount that goes in the middle cross frame rail. It sits high enough not to destroy it on rocks,
and has lights. Maybe get be done the next day or so. I put up a picture when it’s done.

That sounds sweet! I know @wayoflife took his off his first JL and repurposed a bracket and installed it down low like that. I did the same on my Black JL. Here’s a quick pic of it. I don’t think I have any close ups.

I just bought a Rustys rear fascia cover kit for mine. I was wanting to mount the plate somewhere other than on the spare for when we run it without it. Now I remember where it should go!

Do you like cover kit? I would like to get that in The future. I want the D rings, and I like the look.

I really do. It finishes it off just enough. I also got a D-ring kit.
