My JKU Build

Did you change the pinion angle? Looks like you altered the location of all the brackets?

Nope. All the remaining brackets are in the location Dynatrac tacked them. I just welded them out.

I removed the spring mount plates because I won't be using them.

Got the rear drive line installed. Pinion angle set.

Welding in the limit strap and sway bar attachment points.

More progress this weekend!

Well kinda. It seems like each time I add a part I have to take two off... Modify them... Then reinstall everything at once.

Had to fight the exhaust, front swaybar mounts, and hydraulic assist this time.

Dynatrac swaybar mounts were too short to get the links past the coilovers... Then I ordered the wrong PSC clamp for the tie rod. Guess when you get aluminum outers from dynatrac you get a 1 1/2 tie rod... Not a 1 5/8.

The correct clamp is on the way and I am lucky to have a buddy with a CNC Plasma table to cut out new swaybar mounts. Should be good to go soon!

I was finally able to move it into a warmer area under it's own power!

No brakes yet so that was fun! Glad the e-brake works!

Made a bit of progress today!

Getting close to being able to take it for a drive!
