Caught the Bug
I bought this for having fun. It has some upgrades like the MetalCloak GameChanger 4.5 Lift, Fuel 20 inch wheels with Patagonia Milestar 37s, ton of lights, stereo system with sound bar, subs, and amp. Have Synergy part or two. Everything on it works as it should except for the rock lights. Need some time so I can figure that out. Has a Smittybilt winch that was missing the controller. Seems Smittybilt has fallen on hard times and not making new parts from what I've been told so I can't get a replacement. Gen3 XRC 12k. I found an old Harbor Freight wireless remote online and will wire it in this weekend to give me a functional winch hopefully.

I will fix the winch and install the Wayalife Accessory bar this weekend. I have swapped my Weld Cinch beadlocks from my JK to it. Doesn't need much but have a short list. Switch panel and rewire lights, onboard air, replace the race bullet muffler with something quieter, and something else but it is escaping me at the moment.
 
He came with a Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 12k winch but the previous owner did put the winch controller in it when traded in.

Smittybilt has it on indefinite backorder and several vendors said Good luck as Smittybilt is having financial issues and expected to file bankruptcy. I don't know how true but can't get a controller even on eBay.

Found a Harbor Freight wireless controller on eBay and wired it up today. Well mostly my friend Matt but found tools LoL.

Instead of mounting the wireless box to the winch control box he pulled out the circuit board with wireless desoldered some wires made his splices, resoldered to board. Mounted it inside the winch control box. Can't tell anything was done. More moisture resistant than original wireless box.

Most important it works well.

Yeppers. I suck at wiring and never properly learned it. Matt wears many hats including being an engineer for a LMP2 race team. Also does their Porsche Cup stuff as well as the vintage programs. He is really a Rally guy but hasn't done a rally program in a few years. Good friend to have and every now and he helps me out too.

I have a few pics of some time attack builds in progress if you'd like to see partial shells LoL
