Mod Friendly Dealership in So-Cal

If anyone here knows of a mod friendly dealership in or near so-cal I'd appreciate it! I've been using the Irvine Tuttle-Click and I haven't been able to get decent mechanical service in years since I put my lift and tires on. Every thing is due to "the added weight of the tires" and blah blah blah. Any recommendations?

I bought my wrangler at Bob Baker Jeep in Carlsbad. A bit south for you but not too bad. I would try them as they are an AEV dealer, I've see plenty of lifted jeeps in their service bay and was told by a friend they are lift friendly.

LOL!! I guess you never read about my experiences with Tuttle Click  Honestly, they are the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with. It's a drive but, I now use Bob Baker in Carlsbad as they never give me grief. Same is true of all my friends that use them. :yup:

I also bought mine at Bob Baker in 2008 and through the years I have had good service from them. Smokey just came home after an extended visit with them....new engine.

I think I am going to start going there now with the lift. MY dealership was always a little weird and even though I only have a little bit left on my warranty I'd still like to keep it for that amount of time. You and Moochie seem to have good luck so I think I will bring it there when I need to.

My advice ... steer clear of Huntington Beach Jeep. The first time I went in with a lift my Jeep was a year old, 15K miles and an extended warranty. It came out with 15K miles and NO WARRANTY.

I remember that. At least you were able to get your extended warranty refunded, right?

Does anyone use ORANGE COAST jeep there is one in San Juan Capistrano and Costa Mesa? I go to one in San Juan, But I haven't added any Mods yet. I will be in there soon to have my cylinder head and drivers seat replaced.

Eddie, Have you ever used the?

I get parts from the San Juan OC but have never used them for service. They weren't around back when I started taking my Jeep to Bob Baker and my experience there have been good enough that I just keep going there.

Ok, cool thank you:thumb:. So far I haven't had any problems there, Will see once I add my lift and tires...:idontknow:

Thank you everybody! I think I'm headed to Bob Baker to check it out. Tuttle click has been absolutely horrible. I went in for my tranny overheating and they said they needed to replace the whole tranny for around 3500 and it wouldn't be covered under warranty because of the tires. Took it to a local 4x4 shop and they put in a tranny cooler and haven't had the problem since. Thumbs down for Tuttle click haha

I'm currently having a power steering leak coming from (what I can see) the bottom of the steering box and wanted to see if I could get it checked out and see if it would be covered. I always try the dealership first and give myself the benefit of the doubt that they'll fix it..if not I'm headed to my local 4x4 shop haha

I take the time to go out to Redlands Jeep. Mod friendly. One of the two owners is a JK Jeeper
who is very active in the Inland Empire. Always a good experience.

i just had service done at

Kirby Jeep
2350 1st St Simi Valley, CA 93065
(805) 581-9090

everyone was very nice and helpful.
they fixed my fuel overflow issue and did a trans service (regular maintenance) and the only hassle i had
was a few people there asking me about my mods, including a couple who was there looking to buy a '13 JKU

Don-A-Vee in OC. Very mod friendly. They used to run their own Jeep speed team. Have an old modded out Cherokee they used to race in the show room
