MOAB EJS...You never know what is going to show up

Well, Just as in Eddie's big encounter with the Jeep Concept rigs, I too had a encounter of a different type. On our EJS trail run this morning 'Jax Trax' we had this new Bentley join us for half of the trail run... yes it is four wheel drive, locking diffs, W12 engine, 600hp, adjustable ride height and of course.... burl wood dash and heated and cooled kit leather seats and rear seat entertainment. All the nicest off roading features for only 300,000 dollars!!! Well he only went half way and turned back for some other events, that the driver, a guy from 'Road & Track' magazine said he needed to go to. But, how often is that ever going to happen to you on a trail run in Moab????? See for yourself...

I was near the front of the line up and they ran last at the back but we kept hearing on the CB that the 'tail gunner' was having to hang back with him because he was having problems getting up some the steep rocky climbs. Plus, it was running street tires which didn't help for traction. But it did make it half way, with just a lot more effort...
