Bonjour from the south of France !
I just entered into the Jeep universe buying my first Wrangler. It was about time!
Before, i used to roam Europe, Russia and Central Asia with my Ural 4320 truck. Although a brilliant beast, it is not exactly the most practical of machines. So i sold it and went looking for a handy-sized replacement for which there was actually only one single criterium to fulfill: it had to have plenty character!
Quite naturally my search lead me to the legendary Wrangler. And I quickly decided that i wanted an unmodified JKU Rubicon, diesel, manual, 2011 or newer. And as it turned out, this is a rather rather rare combo in Europe. But after some six months i found my bonheur in Italy!
So...me happy
Now i will gradually build it into a nice overlander. To start off, i will be picking up a healthy set of AEV goodies in th UK this weekend. ( i'm quite jealous of you guys in the US having direct access to all this nice aftermarket candy
Looking forward sharing the Way of Life with you'all.
Ciao
Niels
