Master craftrear seat brackets/factory seats

Not sure what you are asking?

Are you trying to put the factory front seats in the back to get rid of your bench seat?

If the mounting holes are close you should be able too. I would secure the bolts enough to keep them in place but still allow for some movement to install the seats then tighten everything down at once.

No I have not done this.

Lol, that's exactly what I'm asking.

I need to know if the holes line up and how much fab work needs to be done. I can assume it's close to lining up.

I thought I read it somewhere on here, but nothing came up.

Anyone run the rear mastercraft brackets with the factory front seats ??

As you know, I run MasterCraft Baja RS seats in the rear of Moby with this bracket and can't see why you wouldn't be able to run factory front seats on them. You may have to use a few washers to make up the difference in height between the rails and the seat brackets but other wise, you should be able to do it. Where you will have an issue is with the seat belts as the front receivers will not work with the rear belt. You will have to just use the rears entirely and that means you will need to mount the receivers to the floor.

I'll be using the rear seat belts anyway. I'm curious about the width difference. Since you have to use adapters for the front seats, I would assume something for the rear.

Hard to say for sure. As you mentioned, you have to use adapters for the MasterCraft seats so maybe the factory seats will just sit flush. In fact, I'm betting that might be the case. What you may have to do is switch the position of the seats (passenger on the driver and vice versa) as there would be issues with the adjustment levers. We had to do this with our MasterCraft seats.

I have done this & the width is fine. You can bolt them right up to the MC bracket. As far as having to use the adapters for the front I didn't use them on my MC seats & everything lined up perfectly but I didn't reuse my factory seat belt. If I get time I'll go out & take some pics.

Did the rear seat belts work ?

I ordered it, see how this turns out.

Sorry, I'm at work & can't get away to take a pic. I just thought about this if you wanted to use all 8 mounting holes on the factory seat you'll have to mod you a bracket so that the other 4 holes will have a spot to sit. Can't remember where I've seen it. I think it was on a different forum.

I'd really like to see the pics as well. I was just wondering the other day if this would be possible, as it's a mod I absolutely plan to do. I assume the front JK seats bolted to these brackets still have the ability to slide fore and aft? If so this is perfect.

You need the sliders for the front seats. It'll be fixed unless you buy sliders. I'll do the install next weekend. This weekend I'm at KOH

Other 4 holes?? Only 4 bolts per seat..

I used the sliders on my front MC seats & just bolted the factory seats to the rear MC bracket with out the slider. I'm not sure if they will line up with the slider or not.

I've been wondering this same thing! Please post pics and review after you complete it. I want captains in the rear but don't want to do the MC's...would like to have factory

No problem, I have mastercrafts in the front. I'm just not going to spend money on seats that won't get used much. My parents will be riding among for a week and I figured I would be nice and give them a little better seat than the bench.
