Caught the Bug
Got back from an off road trip this weekend and realized my left rear control arm is missing the bolt that attaches it to the axle and the right rear was within one thread of coming off. Luckily all it cause was a rear end kick when taking the foot off the accelerator and all of my rear end parts are covered under a limited lifetime warranty through scotties auto body (they had to replace my rear axle after someone t-boned me). Taking a pause on the motor swap for a few months to get my audio system fully set up, do a beefier rear axle swap, and upgrade my brake system to support a motor swap in the future... Throughout all of this I will be rebuilding the motor I have and installing an oversized cam into the 5.3 I picked up.

I'm about to add a new member to the family, while not a Jeep she's still gm power. Next weekend I'm going to drive up to Vancouver and test drive a 99 firebird so I can have a reliable DD while I strip the Jeep apart. It's the 3.8 v6 but it's the manual and I have a friend who can get me a really good deal on the turbo kit for it. Fingers crossed there's nothing serious wrong with it and the price isn't actually too good to be true!

LOL!! Well you've gotta drive something while the Jeep is down. Hope it works out for you and if it does, post up some pics

Just replaced my stubby CB with one that a customer special ordered and then never picked it up. I love the punk because it's obnoxious and I'm not one to turn down a 4' firestick for 4 dollars.

Picked up a steel horse two piece hard top today, I know it isn't the best quality but it only cost me my worn out soft top plus 100 cash. I spent the day building new pins for the base and jb welding them in and tomorrow I'm going to try and tackle the little chip in the fiberglass above the drivers side door.

Love the sarcasm 🙄 I can't complain for the price point though. Cheap soft top plus 100, is great knowing that whatever comes up I can repair for cheap with my Napa discount.

My girls gonna be down for a while, I'm starting the motor swap, and my paycheck is about to become a quarter of what it was before because college is starting back up so it's going to go a lot slower than I thought it would. Luckily I added this girl to my driveway to ride while Martha is down.

Figure I'd post this because I think it's pretty cool. Time lapse of me putting the body lift on my Jeep. I only really out it on to make my swap easier and honestly might end up taking it off when it's all finished but the extra height is nice.
