March 14th @ Rausch Creek. Springtime shake down run.

Pics please ...

Believe it or not I slacked hard on camera duty today. It was raining and cold and I kept leaving my phone in the jeep. There just wasn't enough photo ops. Had a blast but most of the trails were covered in snow and ice. Yellow jacket and crawler Ridge were the only obstacles that we went over.

My buddy in his TJ blew his front axle on yellow jacket, another friend in a jku rubi sheared a valve stem on the same obstacle.

Got both of them back going (thankfully they came prepared!)

Oh. I finally made it over yellow jacket. Third times a charm. One of our guys knew the line and guided me right over it. New gears and lockers made it a LOT easier. Even though it was snowy it wasn't "paved" if anything the slippery conditions made it harder. Either way, I haven't been that stoked in a LONG time :-D

Also got to meet Ridinrubicon and their friends! Was awesome to wheel with a fellow wayalifer and you definitely worked that jeep! Great driving and I hope you guys had as much fun as I did.

The few pics I took I will upload later. I came home after 19 hours in my jeep to a total blackout in the town I live in. I know Ridinrubicon took a ton of pics, and one of my club buddies took some gopro footage.

Can't wait till the next trip!

Looks like a cold, wet, awesome day! Looking forward to the pictures.

That's about it for the pictures lmao. Like I said I slacked big time! Hopefully Ridinrubicon will post some. I'll pm them on Facebook and see if they got anything for us :)

Thanks for letting us run with you all! We couldn't have found a better group to wheel with yesterday and had a blast doing it! Since it was the first time putting the Rubicon to the test, I wanted to make sure it was well documented... And it was. Sorting 300 pics now but here's a few:

Looks like fun. Cold, but still fun. Did army girl and crew show up and give you a staredown from across the parking lot again?

Thank you for taking some awesome pics! You guys rocked it in your rubi. We all made a few new friends yesterday, great times. Btw it's more fun in the summer :) no tops and doors!

LOL there might have been one or two other groups there Saturday. Nobody gave us a hard time. Besides, my rig was the only one with a wal sticker.
