Long Island, New York Thread

Hey Overlander you might want to go police the "Alabama Jeepers" thread and find out what the point is of having a chat thread for those in Alabama that want to jeep with each. :thumb:

Maybe I will. Next time you need help with info for a trail be sure to ask me.

Sister in law lives ronkoma or however you spell it. Up they often never hit the beaches want to though. Any trails besides the beach?

Not really to be honest. Beach is the closest thing we can get to offroad around here, at least to my knowledge.

There are but they are not legal. How ever to get to the beach for hither hills way out east requires driving throu 1 1/2 miles of trail. Also its hunting location so you can pretty much drive the whole park but nothing really serious. I think I have a couple of pics from there.

Hey there. I like the idea of this thread man, keep it going. I'm from Rochester, my wife is from Smithtown, we go to LI quite a bit. I'll post up next time we head up there and maybe we can get a meet and greet going. Plus we know a couple people up there that just bought jeeps, trying to get them on this and JK forum. We usually fly up there, but when the jeep gets a little more grown up, we will take that.

That's cool. I didn't know that about hither hills. I have to check that place out I've heard so much about it

Thanks, a meet and greet would definitely be cool. A couple of us tried to get together last month or so but it fell through cause of everyone's schedule.
