If I only lift my Jeep 2.5" for a little extra clearance for trail driving is rough country acceptable equipment or should I look at other brands?

There is an off road shop here that will do a 2.5" rough country lift for $525. That's parts and labor. What would you guess a 2" spacer lift would cost?

Oh please, do yourself a favor and do the install yourself. It really is super easy to do and if you don't have the tools, the money you would otherwise use for labor can easily buy why you need and then you will have them for future jobs and maintenance.
