Lift or mod my dana 30 first

I just looked them up. Seem pretty nice, any issue with them tearing off?

Don't have any, but lifetime warranty to the original owner if they do rip off.
I'm happy with my trimmed fenders, but I like the look and clearance these have. I can't add plastic back to mine to trim them like this. If I ever have 600 laying around, I'll get some.

Back to the original topic, I wouldn't add more than gussets to your front axle.

I'll repeat what he said to drive home the point, "it's free" why not save the 800 and apply it to your axle when the d30 brakes. That's my plan for mine.

?? Cut fenders yourself-put money you saved on fenders in bank/mattress-when D30 breaks in future, use said money you saved to help fund new axle.
