could I install the lift and just not disconnect? Until I get the exhaust spacers?

yes. but the exhaust issue may not be a problem depending on the extended length of the shocks that came with your kit. check the droop on the jack stands after install to determine if you will need the exhaust spacers.

Oh good. That TeraFlex video made it seem as if you couldn't even fit a lift without them. I'll definitely test out the droop before I'm done. Thanks
