Ldogg's 2door Rubicon build

I picked up a 2008 rubicon used back in April. It was in great shape and only had 40,000 miles on it. The only no stock item at the time was the KMC Addict wheels.



Being in Colorado I naturally needed to get the top off, and doors off. I also picked up a spider web shade. I also picked up some dietech offroad mirror brackets. Since it does rain here once I a while I also got. TrekTop NX








Then came an sPOD and a cobra 75






Next came a pair of Rigid D2's and the spider web shade side panels




From there I added some new switch covers for the sPOD an ARB compressor and a trasharoo





Next was a pair of truck-lites

I then mounted my rigid halo to the a pillar with a mount I made.


Now it was time to get serious


So I added a poison spyder brawler lite w/brawler bar, shackle tabs, poison spyder winch plate and rigid light mount, a rigid 10" E series LED bar, and a warn zeon 10s, along with a factor 55 prolink, and shackles.










Next up is a Rock Krawler 2.5" max travel lift, and 35" nitto trail grapplers. Looking to do that by the end of e year.

Thx, it's getting there... The trasharoo is perfect of the 2 door since space is at a premium.

The jeep looks great. What are your plans for lift and tire size?

Rock Krawler 2.5 max travel with bilsteins and nitto trail grapplers. The max travel kit comes with front and rear LCA's and I can order their upper control arms down the road.

Thanks! I am pretty happy with the results so far, and the trails out here rock.... So far I have been happy with the way it handles out there on those trails. Can't wait to get the lift and tires!

The first few trail pics are mt Herman, the middle few canyon ones are phantom canyon and the rocky ones are bull park. That trail is super fun. We live out in falcon, and I will let you know the next time we go out there!

Here is the rock krawler 2.5 max travel kit from northridge. It includes the blistein 5100 shocks and new teraflex bump stops, spring clips, and correction wedges. Hoping to pick this up in December.

Thanks, I was leaning towards the poison spyder rear bumper with tire carrier, but now I am thinking the bumper but with the or fab tire carrier. I like how it can carry 2 rotopax.
